More new arrivals
The club is pleased to announce the signing of two new players to the playing squad in the last 7 days. Defender Pip Lawrence has signed from Forresters and midfielder Charlotte Thurston from Crystal Palace.
Pip goes straight into the squad this week for the trip to Leyton Orient and Charlotte should be available for the following week for the home league cup game against Colchester.
Manager Hugo Langton said “These two players will be excellent signings for the side. We have had Pip in for a few weeks and she has really impressed me and she has got stronger the more she trained with us. She can play anywhere across the back four and can even play in midfield if need be.
Charlotte came in last week and has now trained twice with us, and it’s clear she has a bit of class about her. She is tenacious and strong on the ball. She has a good background having been with Charlton and more recently Palace. I look forward to working with both of them.
I feel things are starting to look even brighter for us now what with the new signings and Brian coming in as my number two. I am hoping to add one or two more players but only if I feel they are right for the club. I feel we need a bit more competition for places and also if we have a few injuries we now have a bit of depth to the squad so we can cope.”

This is a terrific cause and we will be hoping to raise as much money as possible to help the Edy family reach their target, so all support/donations would be appreciated.
